
Kano, Nigeria – Kano State Governor, His Excellency Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has been honoured with the prestigious WINSEC Distinguished Leadership Award for Peace, Security and Good Governance at the Women in Security Summit & Awards (WINSEC) 2026.
The award recognises Governor Yusuf’s leadership and his administration’s efforts in promoting peace, strengthening security, and advancing good governance across Kano State. It also acknowledges the government’s commitment to implementing policies aimed at improving public safety, enhancing service delivery, and fostering an environment where citizens can thrive.
