One Kano Agenda wishes to sincerely commend the Hon. Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, for his exemplary leadership and commitment towards the successful implementation of the Safe Corridor Project in Kano State.
The inspection visit conducted by the committee at the Corporate Institute, Gabasawa, ahead of the commencement of the project reflects dedication, administrative preparedness, and genuine concern for sustainable peace and social development in the state.
We consider the Safe Corridor Project a timely and strategic non-kinetic initiative aimed at rehabilitation, reorientation, peacebuilding, and community reintegration, especially in addressing security challenges through constructive and humane approaches.
At a time when society requires practical solutions to strengthen stability and peaceful coexistence, this initiative stands as a clear demonstration of the Kano State Government’s commitment to dialogue, empowerment, and social transformation.
One Kano Agenda particularly appreciates the efforts of Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya and members of the committee for ensuring adequate preparations towards the successful take-off of the programme.
We believe that the project will significantly contribute to restoring hope, reforming lives, promoting peaceful coexistence, and advancing the collective progress of Kano State.
We therefore encourage the committee and all relevant stakeholders to sustain this noble effort in the interest of peace, unity, and development.
