Vice President Kashim Shettima has commissioned the newly rehabilitated and expanded road network from the Karu Interchange to the Customs Clinic Junction, along with other adjoining roads in Karu Satellite Town, Abuja.
The commissioning comes just one week after the inauguration of the Karu Satellite Town Water Supply Network, underscoring the Federal Government’s ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure across the Federal Capital Territory.

Speaking at the event, Vice President Shettima said the road projects and other infrastructure initiatives demonstrate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to addressing urban congestion and improving the quality of life for Nigerians.
He noted that the rehabilitation and expansion of the roads go beyond improving transportation, describing them as strategic investments aimed at revitalising local economic activities, enhancing connectivity, and creating opportunities for businesses and residents.
Shettima reaffirmed the Federal Government’s resolve to continue delivering critical infrastructure that supports economic growth, promotes sustainable urban development, and improves the welfare of citizens.
