The Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, has felicitated with Nigerians on the occasion of the country’s 66th Independence Anniversary.

In his Independence Day message, Commissioner Waiya called on Nigerians to renew their commitment to national unity, peace and good governance as essential pillars for building a prosperous and stronger nation.

He emphasised the importance of unity and peaceful coexistence in creating a better future for present and future generations, urging citizens to contribute positively to the development and progress of the country.

According to him, Nigeria has great potential to become a stronger, more united and prosperous nation when citizens work together in the spirit of patriotism, mutual respect and shared responsibility.

The Commissioner also urged Nigerians to continue supporting efforts aimed at strengthening peace, good governance and national development.

He prayed for continued peace, progress and prosperity in Nigeria and Kano State, while wishing all Nigerians a happy and memorable 66th Independence Anniversary.
