
The Nigeria Forward team has held a strategic engagement with meeting with organizations from the North-East, in Bauchi State as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration and expand its activities across the six geo – political zones
The engagement commenced with a welcome address by Hon. Mannir Muazu Haidara, Chairman of Kauran Namoda Local Government Area of Zamfara State, and Director, Finance and Resource Mobilization of Nigeria Forward. He welcomed members of the organizations and appreciated them for making time to attend the meeting.
In his remarks, Hon. Haidara noted the importance of bringing stakeholders together to share ideas, understand the vision of Nigeria Forward, with a view to build stronger collaborations across the North-East.
The Co-Convener of Nigeria Forward, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, PhD, briefed the oraganization on the background, objectives, structure and direction of Nigeria Forward. He explained the purpose of the organisation and highlighted the importance of unity, peace, and active participation in advancing the country forward.
The briefing was followed by an interactive session, during which members from different organizations were given the opportunity to ask questions, seek clarification and share their views on the activities and objectives of Nigeria Forward.
The session was indeed a frank engagement with the representatives of different organizations expressing their interest in the Nigeria Forward, and its objectives. At the end of the meeting, members of the North-East Coalition expressed their willingness to work with Nigeria Forward and pledged their interest and commitment to supporting the organisation.
The Bauchi engagement marks another important step in Nigeria Forward’s efforts to engage stakeholders across the country and build a broader network of people committed to working together in the interest of Nigeria, as a nation
