The Citizens Democratic Alliance (CDA) has welcomed the judgment delivered by the Federal High Court concerning the registration of the party, describing it as a victory for democracy and constitutional governance in Nigeria.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Citizen Abdulrazaq Umar, the CDA commended the court for upholding the Constitution, the rule of law, and the democratic rights of Nigerians.

The party expressed gratitude to its members, supporters, legal team, and all Nigerians who stood by it throughout the legal process.
According to the statement, the judgment represents more than a victory for the CDA, noting that it is also a triumph for democracy, political inclusion, constitutional governance, and the right of citizens to freely organize and participate in the democratic process.
The party stated that it bears no ill will towards any institution or individual, emphasizing that its commitment has always been focused on expanding democratic space, promoting respect for the rule of law, and advancing national development.
The CDA described the ruling as the beginning of a new chapter in its political journey and pledged to continue engaging peacefully, responsibly, and constructively in Nigeria’s democratic process.
It further disclosed that in the coming days, the party would formally present its vision, manifesto, and roadmap for building a more prosperous, just, secure, and united Nigeria.
