
The Management of Niger State Pilgrims’ Welfare Board attended the Post-Arafat Briefing in Makkah, organized by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), as part of efforts to review the just-concluded 2026 Hajj exercise.
A statement signed by the board public relations officer Jibrin Usman kodo said the Briefing brings together key stakeholders, and State Pilgrims’ Welfare Boards to assess the overall conduct of the pilgrimage, with a focus on identifying both strengths and areas requiring improvement.
Particular attention is being given to activities in the Masha’er (holy sites), with the aim of enhancing operational efficiency and service delivery for future Hajj exercises.
The Board’s participation underscores its commitment to continuous improvement and the welfare of pilgrims from Niger State.
