A former Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Engr. Abdullahi Tijjani Gwarzo, has officially declared his intention to contest for the Kano North Senatorial seat in the 2027 general elections.
Gwarzo, who previously served under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, made his ambition known amid growing political activities ahead of the next electoral cycle.
His declaration is expected to reshape the political landscape in Kano North, as stakeholders and party loyalists begin early alignments and consultations.
