Leadership is ultimately measured not by promises, but by results. In Kano State, the achievements recorded under the administration of His Excellency, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, have increasingly become a visible part of the daily lives of citizens.
From infrastructure and education to healthcare, youth empowerment, social development and other sectors, the administration’s interventions provide a basis for assessing its performance through what has been delivered and what remains ongoing.
For supporters of continuity, the argument is straightforward: when a government’s programmes and projects are visible across communities, the conversation naturally shifts from promises to sustainability how such initiatives can be consolidated, expanded and taken further.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s political journey has also been associated with a grassroots connection to the people of Kano. His administration’s supporters believe that maintaining the direction of governance would provide an opportunity to preserve ongoing projects, strengthen existing programmes and pursue further development.
The principle behind continuity is therefore not merely about politics; it is about the future of the policies and projects that citizens can see and assess for themselves.
Achievements speak for themselves. Results create their own record. And continuity remains a question for the people of Kano to decide through the democratic process.
For us at the Abba Kabir Yusuf Continuity Project, the message is clear: Kano deserves sustained attention to development, accountability and programmes that directly affect the lives of its people.
The work continues. The record remains visible. The future belongs to the people of Kano.
