
After observing the Eid-el-Kabir prayers in Kabo, the Deputy President of the Senate, Barau I. Jibrin, paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Dr. Mahmoud Baffa Yola at Gyadi-Gyadi in Tarauni Local Government Area of Kano State.
Senator Barau described the late former Kano State Commissioner as a humble and committed leader who devoted his life to the development and progress of Kano State.
During the visit, prayers were offered for Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings, expand his grave, and grant him Jannatul Firdaus.
The Deputy Senate President also visited the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital where he sympathized with Alhaji Maigida Sani Kura, a respected political leader from the Kura/Madobi/Garun Malam Federal Constituency, who is currently receiving treatment.
Senator Barau prayed for Allah’s mercy and wished the elder statesman a quick and full recovery.
The visits reflected Senator Barau’s continued commitment to standing with the people during moments of grief and illness, especially during the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
