The Deputy President of the Senate, Barau Jibrin, earlier today paid a courtesy visit to former Senate Chief Whip, Bello Hayatu Gwarzo, at his residence in Kano State.
Senator Barau was accompanied by the Deputy Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, Hon. Salisu Maje Ahmad Gwangwazo; the Managing Director of the Northwest Development Commission (NWDC), Prof. Shehu Abdullahi Ma’aji; and Hon. Murtala Inyako Lambu.
During the visit, the leaders held fruitful discussions on issues relating to the development of Kano North Senatorial District, Kano State, and Nigeria as a whole.
Senator Barau noted that Senator Bello Hayatu Gwarzo, who recently joined the APC, made significant contributions to national development during his over a decade of meritorious service in the Senate.
The meeting also emphasized the importance of unity, progress, and strengthening the APC for the continued development of the community, the state, and the country.
