Governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who are serving their first term in office have reaffirmed their unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and pledged their continued commitment to the implementation of his administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The position was contained in a statement issued by the Director General of Media and Publicity to the Governor of Kano State, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa.
The governors reached the resolution after a meeting held in Birnin Kebbi, where they emphasized that the Federal Government’s ongoing economic reforms are essential to restoring macroeconomic stability, attracting both local and foreign investment, strengthening national security, and laying the foundation for sustainable economic growth.
While acknowledging the economic challenges currently facing many Nigerians, the governors maintained that the reforms are necessary for long-term national recovery and urged citizens to remain patient as the policies continue to take effect. They also reaffirmed their commitment to working closely with the Federal Government to ensure that the benefits of the reforms are felt across all states.
