The Kano State Ministry of Information and Internal Affairs under the leadership of Abdullahi Ibrahim Waiya serves as the official mouth piece and publics relations arm of the Kano state First Agender.The ministry is responsible for public enlightenment, and managing state records, maintaining internal security cohesion, promoting transparency to bridge the gap between the government and citizens, the ministry has the responsibilities and functions include Public Enlightenment & Information management, the ministry disseminates accurate and timely information about state policies, programs, and activities. Waiya plays a crucial role in Kano state first Agender by countering misinformation and combating fake news through media relation, and coordinates Government press briefings, manages relationships with media organizations, and ensures that the public has direct access to administrative updates and executive decisions. Internal Affairs & Security of The state, the ministry oversees initiatives by promoting peace and public order. The ‘Waiya’ administration as (Limamin Kano First) Agender is the co-ordinator in Kano state, he also achieves many keys 🗝️ programs, one of the examples of his administration as (Limamin Kano First) is “Safe Corridor model”.

A programme built on accountability transparency, multi-agency governance, and measurable humanitarian, peace and stability outcomes. The Limamin Kano First Agender, promotes an Operation of Safe Corridor that co-ordinates specialised interventions across the state, which the program will help Kano state youth to stop thugary by rehabilitation, training, and reintegration, with oversight from partners agencies and civilian institutions. He has a team of the programmed of Safe Corridor (Kano Model), over one thousand repentant youths who were selected from the existing and already profiled youths, who have surrendered and embraced peace. The beneficiaries came from eight metropolitan local Government areas, namely: Municipal, Fagge, Dala, Tarauni, Nassarawa, Gwale, Kumbotso and Ungogo to become well being of the society. The programme has further reaffirmed Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf The (Shugaban Kano First Agender). In his administration’s by strong commitment to youth development and empowerment, through inclusive governance and peoples driven social reintegration and the best practices of beneficiaries, who were mainly young individuals, were once involved in political thuggery, and Yan daba fight. The young people whose major occupation were violence promotion and other disruptive activities, have since demonstrated genuine remorse and a readiness to change; through the structured support, mentorship, and empowerment non kinetic initiatives. These young youth people are now being guided to transform a responsible, law-abiding, and productive members of the society.

This initiative, which has been extended to several groups across the state, with sustainable and security which are the best achieved through his office not only through enforcement, but through compassion, empowerment and life changing opportunity, by ensuring that no one is left behind in his collective pursuit of unity, stability, and development. It also collates public perception and community challenges at the grassroots level, which provides valuable feedback that helps shape responsive governance and Civic Advocacy. The Limamin Kano First, has issues official state statements on matters ranging from public health and agriculture to disaster management and financial milestones. For official updates and announcements. The super commissioner, the one and only commissioner in the history of Kano state, who established the Safe Corridor project (Kano Model) which is a community-driven reintegration and peace building programme targeting youths formerly involved in thuggery and political violence. He also focuses on rehabilitation through sustainable livelihoods, psychosocial support, and helping them reintegrate into society as good productive citizens. The Limamin Kano First Agender (Kano Model) helps some students by given them scholarships that will help them achieve their goals, for example, he afforded 10 students with 100,000 to each of them with his own money 💰 in order to study their different courses from (IBN ISNA ETHIOPIAN COLLEGE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY) dakata kano, that will help them to study free and achieve their goals. The commissioner of information and internal affairs is the chiared committee of Kano state Taskforce on voters registration of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on the entire state, his strategic intervention aimed at mobilizing and encouraging citizens to fully participate in the ongoing voter registration exercise to ensure maximum success across the state. Under his committee he has composition of the Taskforce which comprises key government officials, political appointees, traditional and religious leaders, civil society representatives, the media, and professional associations, he also stressed that the establishment of the Taskforce is not a mere administrative exercise but a decisive step towards promoting participatory democracy. He urged stakeholders including traditional institutions, political parties, civil society, unions, women and youth groups, and the general public to collaborate in ensuring that all eligible citizens register to vote.

“Voter registration is not just a routine activity, but a civic responsibility of extraordinary importance. It is the gateway to shaping the future of governance and ensuring that the voices of the people of Kano are heard at the ballot box,” ‘Waiya’ emphasized. A true leader that has visions and missions.
