The Tinubu Abba Gida Gida Oyoyo 2027 support group has reaffirmed its commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC), pledging its support for the party from the national to the grassroots level ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The group made the declaration when its leadership, led by its Chairman, Hon. Surajo Umar Wudil, paid a courtesy visit to the Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, PhD.
During the meeting, the group expressed its support for the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, while highlighting its confidence in the direction of the APC ahead of the 2027 elections.
The group also formally recognised Commissioner Waiya as its patron, describing him as a key stakeholder with whom it intends to work closely in advancing its objectives.
Responding, Commissioner Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya appreciated the group for the visit and its commitment to political engagement.
He assured the delegation of his willingness to work with the group and provide the necessary cooperation within the scope of his responsibilities as they mobilise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf ahead of the 2027 elections.
The Commissioner further called for unity, peaceful political participation and constructive engagement among stakeholders as preparations for the 2027 elections continue.
