
The APC Intellectual Door-to-Door Awareness and Mobilization Forum has commended the efforts of the Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, for his contribution towards strengthening public awareness and grassroots political mobilisation across the state.
The forum, chaired at the Kano State level by Alhaji Salisu Alhassan Dantata, is focused on taking the message of the All Progressives Congress (APC) directly to the people through door-to-door awareness, community engagement and grassroots mobilisation.
Speaking on the activities of the forum, its chairman, Alhaji Salisu Alhassan Dantata, said the initiative was established to promote constructive engagement with citizens and explain government policies, programmes and achievements to the people.
He described Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya as a committed public communicator whose activities have contributed significantly to informing the people of Kano about government programmes, policies and developments.
According to him, effective communication remains an important tool for strengthening democracy, building public confidence and ensuring that citizens understand government policies and programmes.
Dantata said members of the forum would continue to visit communities, interact with residents and create awareness on issues of public importance, while encouraging peaceful and responsible political participation.
He further called on APC supporters and members of the public to support initiatives that promote unity, peaceful coexistence and meaningful development across Kano State.
The chairman also emphasized the importance of responsible communication, urging political actors and citizens to avoid misinformation, inflammatory statements and other forms of communication capable of undermining peace and stability.
The APC Intellectual Door-to-Door Awareness and Mobilization Forum pledged to sustain its grassroots engagement and mobilisation activities across the state as part of efforts to strengthen the party’s connection with the people and promote greater public understanding of government programmes and policies.
