Unifier Project Nigeria has congratulated the Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, on his conferment with the prestigious Best Crisis Communicator Award by the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
The organisation described the award as a well-deserved recognition of Comrade Waiya’s outstanding contribution to effective public communication and his efforts towards ensuring that citizens receive clear, timely and responsible information.
Unifier Project Nigeria noted that effective crisis communication requires professionalism, accuracy, patience and the ability to manage public expectations while maintaining public confidence. According to the organisation, Comrade Waiya has demonstrated these qualities through his consistent engagement with the media and the wider public.
The organisation also commended the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations for recognising excellence in crisis communication, describing the award as an encouragement to public officials and communication professionals to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, credibility and responsibility.
