The Communications Industrial Park is being commissioned today, marking a significant milestone in the country’s digital economy development. The Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijjani, was present at the commissioning ceremony, stated the park’s establishment is a result of collaboration between the Federal Government and the Kano State Government, with the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) overseeing its development, and improving more on digitalization.
The park was initially vandalized during the End Bad Governance protest but has since been renovated under the supervision of the NCC. The Minister’s commitment to restoring the facility has been instrumental in its completion. Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has expressed gratitude to the Federal Government for the renovation and commissioning of the park, highlighting its potential to enhance youth capacity development and contribute to the state’s growth.
