Kano State has won 7 Gold medals, Two Silver and Five Bronze medals to finished 9th position at the just concluded 9th National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta state.
Kano athletes have competed in 14 games out of 37 event that take place at the tournament.
Recalled that team Kano finished 8th position in 2024 at the National Youth Games which took place at the same state this year with 5 Gold medals, 2 Silver and 2 bronze.
Kano State athletes have won two gold medal in Taekwondo, two gold medal in Gymnastics, one gold at the traditional Kokawo, one gold medal in Rugby and another gold medal in Judo.
And also two silver in Taekwondo and Fives, the Kano continents has clinched two bronze medals in Fives, and one each in basketball, taekwondo, and badminton.
