Three different awards conferred on Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf by different organisations in appreciation and recognition of his commitment to the State’s development.
The awards were delivered to him on Wednesday during the council’s meeting at Governor’s Lodge in Kwankwasiyya city by the Commissioner of Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya and his counterpart of Solid Minerals, Alhaji Hamza Safiyanu Kachako.
A Press Statement issued by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mustapha Muhammad in Kano said, the awarding organizations are Mediscope Medical Services based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; Northern Youth Unity Forum and the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).
All the awards were in recognition of Governor’s commitment at advancing the state to greater heights.
While receiving the awards, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf thanked the awarding organizations for the recognition and for identifying his administration’s efforts of uplifting the living standard of people of the state.
He assured that he will continue to work tirelessly and strive for excellence, prosperity and socioeconomic development of the state.
